THE WEEKLY EVENT
🌿 Sustainability Week 2026

Timing: Tuesday, April 14 at 10:00 a.m. through Monday, April 20, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Silicobra and Sandaconda, both first discovered in the Galar region, make their Pokémon GO debut this week. Silicobra spawns in desert-like areas in the wild, and 50 candy gets you a Sandaconda. Shiny Toedscool appears in Pokémon GO for the first time, found in forested and grassy areas. Galarian Corsola wearing pink sunglasses also joins the event and can be found on Routes, hatched from 7 km Eggs, and encountered through other event methods, with a chance to be shiny.

A free GO Pass activates automatically at 10 AM Tuesday and rewards items as you rank up. One of the milestone bonuses unlocks 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance while eggs are in an incubator. The GO Pass Deluxe ($4.99) and GO Pass Deluxe + 6 Ranks ($6.99) offer faster progression and extra rewards. GO Pass rewards do not expire when the event ends — you have until Wednesday, April 22 at 8:00 p.m. to claim them.

Check the link below for a look at the full event info.

Trainer Tips

When hatching eggs, keep in mind that the 7 km Egg pool includes Lapras, Togepi, Trubbish, Castform and the costumed Galarian Corsola. Open gifts early and often before Riolu Hatch Day on Saturday, when you want your incubators loaded with 2 km Eggs instead.

THE WEEKEND EVENT
🥚 Replay: Riolu Hatch Day

Timing: Saturday, April 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

Riolu hatches much more from 2 km Eggs during this six-hour window, with boosted shiny odds, double Candy, double XP, and 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance. PokéStop spins are more likely to drop 2 km Eggs throughout the event. Free Timed Research rewards an Incubator and 5,000 XP, but it expires at exactly 5:00 p.m. A paid ticket ($1.99) drops egg distance to 1/4 and includes a Star Piece and two Super Incubators. Note that Hatch Day bonuses do not stack with active GO Pass or event bonuses.

Check the link below for a look at the full event info.

Trainer Tips

Be sure to clear your egg inventory before 11:00 a.m. Saturday, so you’ll be ready to collect event 2km Eggs. Riolu evolves into Lucario with 50 candy. A strong investment for raids and decent for PvP. This is one of the better Hatch Days to stock up.

GO BATTLE LEAGUE
🏆 Master League & Spring Cup: Great League Edition

Timing: Tuesday, April 14, at 1:00 p.m. PT through Tuesday, April 21, at 1:00 p.m. PT.

Master League and Spring Cup (Water, Grass, and Fairy types only, 1,500 CP limit — Jumpluff, Roserade, and Toxapex banned) take over with 4x Stardust from win rewards active.

That Stardust boost pairs with GO Battle Thursday on April 17, giving you 10 battle sets and 4x Stardust from wins in a single day. Even casual battlers can make a big Stardust dent on Thursday.

RAID BOSS ROTATION
⚔️ Raid Bosses This Week

Five-Star Raids

Kyogre holds five-star raids through Tuesday night, then Groudon takes over Wednesday morning.

Rotating in Wednesday, April 15: Groudon is a Ground-type Legendary, weak to Grass, Ice, and Water attacks.

Any Kyogre you caught recently carries right over. It's one of the best counters in the game with Waterfall and Origin Pulse. Mega Blastoise and Mega Venusaur are both strong, accessible options if you've built up Mega Energy on either of those starters. Rillaboom with Razor Leaf and Frenzy Plant also holds up well. If you have more invested counters like Primal Kyogre, Mega Sceptile, or White Kyurem, those lead the damage charts.

You need at least 3 Trainers to beat it. Hundo Groudon can be caught at 2351 CP (or 2939 CP in Sunny weather), and comes with a chance to be shiny.

Groudon is worth powering up if you play Master League in GO Battle League. It ranks A+ Tier at #24 in Master League.

Mega Raids

Mega Aerodactyl finishes its run Tuesday. Mega Alakazam rotates in Wednesday, April 15 and stays through next Tuesday.

Rotating in Wednesday, April 15: Mega Alakazam is a Psychic-type, weak to Bug, Dark, and Ghost attacks. Dark-types are your strongest bet. Tyranitar with Bite and Brutal Swing is a reliable pick most Trainers already have built up, and regular Darkrai with Snarl and Shadow Ball performs well too. Mega Gengar with Lick and Shadow Ball is another strong option that doesn't require any rare Shadow or Primal versions. If you have Mega Tyranitar or Shadow Darkrai, those top the counter list, but a group of Tyranitar and Gengar handles the raid fine.

You need at least 3 Trainers. Hundo Alakazam can be caught at 1747 CP (2184 CP in Windy weather), and comes with a chance to be shiny.

Mega Alakazam is the best non-Legendary Mega Evolution for Psychic-type damage in the game, ranking S Tier at #2 among Psychic attackers. Running it in a raid boosts your whole team's Psychic-type attacks by 30%.

Shadow Raids

Shadow Latios continues appearing in five-star Shadow Raids through May 5. Latios is a Dragon and Psychic-type Legendary, weak to Ice, Bug, Ghost, Dragon, Dark, and Fairy-type moves. Shadow Latios has a chance to be shiny. It ranks among the top Psychic-type attackers at #9 and is presently Rank 25 in Master League GBL.

Raid Hour

Raid Hour runs Wednesday, April 15, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time with Groudon featured across gyms.

MAX MONDAY
🌀 Max Monday featuring Dynamax Drilbur

Timing: Monday, April 13, from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time.

Max Monday features Dynamax Drilbur. Power Spots refresh more frequently all day compared to the rest of the week. Drilbur is a Ground-type Pokémon, and its evolution Excadrill (Ground and Steel-type) is one of the strongest Ground-type attackers for Raid and Max Battles.

If looking for a hundo, be on the lookout for a Dynamax Drilbur with a 786 CP.
